Externships are available for students in veterinary school. These positions are filled on a first come first serve basis. Priority in May - September is given to those who have completed third year.

Externships at Burwash Equine are designed for students to experience general equine practice in a collaborative setting. Externs also have the opportunity to learn more about our internship program during their time with us. Students are involved in both daytime and after hours cases and emergencies, as well as assisting with treatments and appointments. One, two, three, or four week commitments are considered.
