Breeding with Cooled Semen from Burwash Equine

Congratulations on purchasing a cooled semen breeding!  We are super excited to help you and your veterinarian with your mare breeding endeavors.  Here at Burwash, we want to help ensure your success in breeding to a stallion that stands with us.  With this in mind, here are some guidelines to help make the ordering process go smoothly: 

• Our cancel/confirm time is 7am, MST. Cancel confirms must be PHONED in to our office number (403) 242- 1913. You will then either speak directly to a member of our staff or be directed to our After Hours line. If you are redirected, don’t fret! There is an option to leave a reproductive related message that will be forwarded to our on call vet. Emails and text messages will not count as a cancel/confirms.

• Have your veterinarian contact us directly – we like to collaborate with our fellow vets! This will allow us to coordinate with them. The more head’s up they can give us, the better we will be able to ensure your mare gets on the collection list at the appropriate time.

• Our office will require to have your financial details on file in order to make shipping arrangements. Please call our office during business hours, 8:30am – 5:00pm MST, to enable us to make your ordering process is smooth. Delays in getting financial/shipping details can impact whether or not your package is shipped in a timely fashion.
